Approaching the 4th week of my internship in Luxembourg, my thoughts drift to my friends back in Malta and their ongoings.  I would certainly have had an indie night wearing  spots (or stripes) yesterday night.. .*sigh*   God Bless my Soul!   God Bless my Friends!

It’s my last night in Stockholm, and most probably my last European Students’ Convention.   It’s been 5 long days of panel sessions, meetings, networking ’n wrapping up my learning experience as member in the committee for internal development of the European Students’ Union.

Back on my desk… and glad to be back in Luxembourg after 2 days of ESU work in dull Brussels.   The weekend’s highlight was meeting fellow-swan Therisa,  who’s currently in Brussels on Erasmus.   We would be class-mates had I not been chosen for the Stage.  
Not so glad to have all the whites turned into pink after yesterday’s washing [...]

Yesterday’s dinner consisted of qaghaq tal-ghasel, Twistees, qubbajt, krustini, Marsovin wine, some octopus and of course, Bajtra!  It’s ironic how I rarely ever get to eat qubbajt, qaghaq or krustini back home, and I don’t usually like Twistees.  David threw a house party and invited all our Maltese colleagues at the ECJ.

The long awaited winter is fast approaching  . . . makes me long for those evenings with loved ones warming up to the fireplace while hearing the rain beating against the window panes.
It poured all day for the first time while here  enjoyed treading on the soaked yellowish autumn leaves…

Another day has come to an end, the shutters are closed and the silence reigns.
Luxembourg has its sunny days too.   It was one of those sweet autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life.  Starting the day with mass at the Cathedral,  I promised myself I’m going to appreciate this time [...]
