Just a sequence of Life’s events?
Sunday, 8 November, 2009 at 10:57 pm
My head is torn between a long week which is just over and a long week about to start following a few hours of sleep. Been a positively full week, especially after managing to dedicate plenty of time to my thesis. So I am not feeling so guilty anymore.
Despite my (still) very poor French, I [...]

The Gift of Friendship
Thursday, 5 November, 2009 at 12:40 pm
So, while reading Cili’s thoughtsfromtheucreative, I came across this particular blog which she wrote following a conversation with me one afternoon. She states how truly blessed we are to have such amazing friends. Friends that care. Friends that love. True friends. ..
I’ve had my fair share of good and not so good friends… many of whom are [...]

Surreal …
Monday, 2 November, 2009 at 7:22 pm
… and without allowing my thoughts to diffuse away like smoke on a windy day, I will try and structure a few sentences over the mellow sounds of Kings of Leon. Weekend been kind to me, except for the rainy Sunday afternoon/ evening.
Saturday at Vianden felt like I went a thousand years back, so surreal. [...]

First Month Down!
Thursday, 29 October, 2009 at 2:11 pm
Writing from the confines of my office while struggling with my workload, I find myself thinking of my weekend and planning to act the tourist.
Believe it or not, I haven’t seen any of Luxembourg, and already been here for a month. So made myself an itinerary and amongst others, I plan to rent a bike [...]

Ongoings, here and there.
Sunday, 25 October, 2009 at 2:11 pm
Approaching the 4th week of my internship in Luxembourg, my thoughts drift to my friends back in Malta and their ongoings. I would certainly have had an indie night wearing spots (or stripes) yesterday night.. .*sigh* God Bless my Soul! God Bless my Friends!
Lots of ongoings for me too . Following Stockholm, [...]

Ok, so on popular demand by some loyal followers, I am hereby updating my blog.
It’s my last night in Stockholm, and most probably my last European Students’ Convention. It’s been 5 long days of panel sessions, meetings, networking ’n wrapping up my learning experience as member in the committee for internal development of the European Students’ Union.
Just [...]

back ‘home’…
Monday, 12 October, 2009 at 10:20 am
Back on my desk… and glad to be back in Luxembourg after 2 days of ESU work in dull Brussels. The weekend’s highlight was meeting fellow-swan Therisa, who’s currently in Brussels on Erasmus. We would be class-mates had I not been chosen for the Stage.
Not so glad to have all the whites turned into pink after yesterday’s washing [...]

Brussels
Saturday, 10 October, 2009 at 4:59 pm
Yesterday’s dinner consisted of qaghaq tal-ghasel, Twistees, qubbajt, krustini, Marsovin wine, some octopus and of course, Bajtra! It’s ironic how I rarely ever get to eat qubbajt, qaghaq or krustini back home, and I don’t usually like Twistees. David threw a house party and invited all our Maltese colleagues at the ECJ.
After a late night, [...]

some small talk…

Marking another end to a good week characterised by training courses, work and exploring Luxembourg’s charm…
Being here is making me forget I am still a student (I must write my thesis!!). I am being taught how to think and act with a serious mind , how to be a professional in a competitive environment, and that ambition goes hand in [...]
